Our work

Frontline practical care — from crisis back to stability.

The full portfolio of City Reach programs — what's live, what's launching, and what's coming online as the Foundation matures. We focus on the −10 to 0 work: meeting people in the hardest moments and walking them back to a stable starting line.

What we deliver, in detail

The services that sit underneath the programs.

Across the portfolio, the practical services we deliver are the ones that respond to real needs — food, clothing, hygiene, household essentials, community, volunteer mobilisation and safe referral. These are the building blocks every program is made of.

Food relief

Emergency food parcels, pantry distribution, and partnerships with food rescue networks across the Gold Coast.

Clothing & hygiene

Clean clothes, hygiene packs and access to the basics that restore comfort and dignity.

Household essentials

Bedding, kitchen basics and home-starter support for people moving out of crisis into stability.

Community connection

Shared meals, conversation and hospitality — the long thread of belonging that holds people steady.

Volunteer mobilisation

Trained, rostered volunteers from across the community serving on the frontline of practical care.

Safe referral pathways

A dignified entry point into housing, mental health, DV recovery and longer-term support via trusted partners.

The hub

The City Reach Hub.

Our frontline base on the Gold Coast — a coordinated community hub bringing together intake, volunteers, partners and next-step pathways under one roof. The hub is the ground we build everything else from: food relief, volunteer mobilisation, safe referrals, and the next initiatives as they come.

A note on how we work

Alongside the city, not on top of it.

City Reach is designed to work alongside existing charities, churches, councils and community groups — coordinated with the wider local response rather than replacing it. Where we can deliver, we deliver. Where someone else is doing the work better, we refer.
